Executive Chef Jean-Didier Gouges
As a young boy, Jean-Didier, or JD as he’s known here, originally wanted to be a pilot. Thankfully for us, he changed his mind.
Having learned his craft at the Ecole Hôtelière in his home country of Mauritius, he served as private chef to the president at just 18 and at 19, as the youngest Cordon Bleu chef in Mauritius, moved to France to learn classic French cuisine.
Fast forward to today, you’ll find him behind our kitchen counter creating our mouth-watering menu with his brigade of brilliance.

Everything can be picked up directly from Park Corner Brasserie with 24-hour notice, or we can meet you at a nearby tube station to deliver and pick up the hamper at a carriage supplement.

Pour a glass or two of something special and feast on the juiciest cuts of locally sourced meats (or our iconic butternut squash, fast becoming a legend in its own lunchtime) carved at your table and, one more thing: enjoy.
Whether you know your Zamorano from your Abbot’s Gold, our cheese selection is something to behold. Each and every one has been carefully selected for its aroma, balance,flavour and texture and are, if we say so ourselves, exceptional.
On their own or paired with wine, if you’re into your cheese, then you really should be heading over to this corner of the park.
Personally selected by resident tastemaker Rudina, our very own Master of Wine, we’ve a drop of something for every day or every occasion. By the glass or by the bottle, a cheeky lunchtime snifter or something to savour, we’ll have it in our cellar.
And you don’t have to be Rudina to know what to pick, or what goes best with what – we can guide you to the perfect glass that’ll tantalize those tastebuds and slip down a treat.
